题目:Rigidity results for Finslerian gravity

摘要;Finsler geometry is a natural generalization of Riemannian geometry with the latter as a special case. The study of Finsler geometry may throw new light to the modern physics. In this talk, I will introduce basic concepts of Finsler geometry, such as metric, connection, curvature etc. Then, I will discuss the classification of Randers space (a special case of Finsler geometry), which is a milestone of the researches on Finsler geometry. Symmetry plays an important role in fundamental physics. I will discuss the symmetry of Finsler space by using the isometric group. Einstein first give a geometric description of gravity, i.e. the general relativity. The special Finslerian generalization of the Reissner-Nordstr?m solutions will be discussed. At last, I will introduce “peculiar” properties of Finsler geometry and obstructions in constructing gravitational field equations in general Finsler spacetime.

报告人简介:李昕,毕业于中科院高能物理研究所,重庆大学“百人计划”特聘研究员。主要从事引力与宇宙学方面的研究。探索基于Finsler几何建立引力理论,在时空对称性,引力场方程的研究上取得了一些进展,并将相关研究成果用以解释宇宙空间的大尺度各向异性。已在PRD,EPJC,PLB等杂志发表SCI收录论文50余篇。
