摘  要：

The uncertainty principle is one of the few extraordinary features distinguishing quantum theory from classical ones. It reflects the limitation in acquiring the information of different physical properties of a system simultaneously. Recent development in the research of uncertainty relation indicates that it has profound impacts on many aspects of quantum information processing and not to say on our understanding of the quantum world. This talk will present some state-of-the-art developments in this regard.

报告人简介：

乔从丰，男，1963年5月生，汉族，山西太原人，博士研究生学历，博士学位，教授，中科院“百人计划”入选者。中国物理学会，高能物理分会常务理事，副秘书长。中国科学院大学首批长聘教授，政府特殊津贴获得者。1993年至1996年北京大学物理系博士生，1996年至1998年中科院中国高等科技中心博士后，1998年至2000年德国汉堡大学理论物理所洪堡学者，2000年至2002年日本广岛大学JSPS学者，2002年中科院引进海外杰出人才（百人计划）入选者。已在国际本学科核心期刊发表论文百余篇。
