题目:Analysis of Micro-LED Technology Development

报告摘要

MicroLED study is a hot research and development topic recently. Because of its excellent characteristics, it is generally regarded as the terminator of the display industry. However, there are many key points that need to be broken through from the development of new technologies to the practice of products. The research team of Lanzhou University focuses on the development of phosphor materials and the improvement of their characteristics. Kun Shan University research team focuses on the technology development and application of light-emitting diodes. Through technical exchanges and links, there is an opportunity to contribute to the technological development of MicroLED products. This lecture will discuss the possible application opportunities and the market of MicroLED. The urgency and importance of technology development will be emphasized. Then I will propose the key core issues and corresponding technologies that the current industry encounters from epitaxy, process, and phosphors. From the standpoint of device developers, we will discuss how and how to use phosphors to meet the needs of the industry and make substantial contributions to the industry. In the future, it is hoped that the development of technology can generate opportunities for entrepreneurship or industry-university cooperation. Finally, a brief conclusion and prospect will be made for the topic.

林俊良,台湾崑山科技大学电机工程研究所副教授,成功大学博士,研究聚焦在III-V族化合物半导体元件的磊晶(外延)、製程、封装技术(工艺)开发与产品应用,包括光检测器、太阳能电池、发光二极体()与有机发光二极体()等。
