报告摘要:

As a topological physical state, magnetic Weyl semimetals (WSMs) motivate increasing interests in the condense matter physics for low-consumption electronic devices and topological quantum computation. Recently, the quasi-two-dimensional, kagome-lattice magnetic WSM candidate Co3Sn2S2 was realized experimentally [1-3], with chiral-anomaly-induced negative magnetoresistance, giant AHE, and large ANE, showing a promising potential for topological spintronics. In this talk, I will present a transport study on nanodevices of Co3Sn2S2. The devices with thickness ranging from 180 nm to 30 nm have been prepared by micro-fabrications. The thin films show stable out-of-plane ferromagnetism and enhanced AHE. The anomalous Hall conductivity, Hall angle, and coercive force were measured as 1500 S/cm, 23%, and 5 T, respectively. The results indicate the topological transport behavior can be enhanced in nanoscale. Magnetic Weyl semimetal Co3Sn2S2 can provide an ideal system for device physics and applications under the connection of topological physics and spintronics.

个人简介:

刘恩克,中科院物理所研究员,博士生导师。2012年毕业于物理所并留所工作,并获中科院院长奖学金特别奖、中科院百篇优秀博士论文奖。2016-2018年以洪堡学者赴德国马普所进行研究访问,合作导师为Claudia Felser教授。主要从事磁性功能新材料的探索,包括磁性相变材料、磁性拓扑材料、磁性拓扑电/热输运等。在国际上实现了首个磁性外尔半金属,提出了全过渡族Heusler合金新家族,发现了磁相变材料的居里温度窗口效应等。已在ScienceNat. Phys.Nat. Commun.Phys. Rev. Lett.Sci. Adv.等国际期刊上发表研究论文100余篇。曾获国家基金委优青基金、中科院青促会优秀会员基金、国家自然科学二等奖(4/5)等。
